WHAT IS THE ITH CLOUD CALCULATOR USED FOR?

Practical Uses of a Cloud Calculator

If you calculate the cost of a cloud environment manually, it’s easy to make a mistake or overlook one of the parameters. The calculator eliminates that risk and saves you time.

check 19

Cost Analysis

The calculator lets you check the unit cost of individual components (vCPU, RAM, storage, licenses, backup). You can see what drives the cost, not just the final total.

check 19

Configuration Comparison

In just a few seconds, you can see how changing from 2 to 4 vCPUs or selecting a different license affects your monthly subscription fee.

check 19

Budget Planning

The calculator lets you instantly calculate the cost of the subscription and see how it fits into your company's IT budget.

CALCULATOR COMPONENTS

The Anatomy of Cloud Environment Pricing

Each parameter in the calculator corresponds to a real resource in the ITH Cloud infrastructure

icons8-stacked-organizational-chart-highlighted-first-node-100 1

vCPU

The virtual CPU core assigned to your machine - the basic unit of computing power.

icons8-memory-slot-96 1

GB RAM

The amount of memory available to the system and applications. Databases and high-performance systems, for example, require significantly more memory than a typical web server.

icons8-storage-100 1

Storage - NVMe, SSD, HDD

NVMe is the fastest and default option for databases and mission-critical systems. SSDs are well-suited for general-purpose applications, while HDDs are the most cost-effective choice for archives.

icons8-wi-fi-connected-100 1

IP Address

A unique address that identifies the machine on the Internet. Additional addresses are needed when multiple independent services run on the same server.

icons8-certificate-64 3

System Licenses

Linux does not incur any additional charges. Windows Server, on the other hand, requires a license, and multi-user access via Remote Desktop requires an additional RDS license.

icons8-licencje

DirectAdmin Licenses

This license is required if you need to manage multiple domains, email accounts, or client websites from a single location.

icons8-web-application-firewall-96 1

Backup and Security

DR Backup protects data for disaster recovery, while Volume Backup creates a copy of the entire volume. Fortigate VDOM, on the other hand, enhances infrastructure security by isolating traffic.

icons8-user-secured-96 1

Administration

The administration option transfers day-to-day management of the environment to the ITH team, so you can focus on growing your business.

LICENSES

Operating Systems and Control Panels

Linux

Linux licenses (ITH offers a choice between Debian and Ubuntu) do not incur an additional license fee. They are the default choice for most new deployments.

Windows Server

A license is required for .NET applications, Active Directory , and systems that have no equivalent on Linux. An RDS license is also required for multiple simultaneous logins via Remote Desktop.

DirectAdmin

If you're running multiple websites, email accounts, or client accounts on a virtual machine, you need a control panel that can manage it all from a single location—DirectAdmin is the right solution.

DirectAdmin Personal

2 accounts, up to 20 domains. This is sufficient for a single company that manages its own websites and email accounts.

DirectAdmin Lite

Up to 10 accounts, 50 domains. For small hosting companies and agencies serving a few clients.

DirectAdmin Standard

Unlimited number of accounts and domains. For hosting companies and resellers, there are no limits on new customers.

BILLING MODEL

CAPEX vs. OPEX

Purchasing your own servers is a capital expenditure. A flexible subscription model (OPEX) allows you to replace high infrastructure costs with predictable operating expenses, without tying up capital in hardware.

check 19

Cost Predictability

The subscription model allows your company's finance department to plan IT expenses in advance, without any surprises on the invoice.

check 19

Scalability

Do you need more computing power or memory? The OPEX model gives you the flexibility to scale up or down as needed, without having to wait for hardware delivery or a new contract.

check 19

Lack of investment in equipment

You don't have to worry about the server room, backup power, or equipment replacement. The ITH team takes the burden of maintaining your own infrastructure off your shoulders.
