ITH launches one of its main network nodes (POP) in Warsaw’s LIM Tower

ITH – a flexible provider of ICT services for business, including primarily symmetric Internet access and data transmission services as part of its latest investment project – has launched its access node, the so-called POP (Point of Presence) in Warsaw, in a central location on the telecommunications map of Poland in the building of a hotel Marriott, in the LIM DC data center. This is the third ITH access point in Warsaw.

“The choice of LIM DC was quite obvious for us, it’s a place where almost all Polish telecom operators are available, similarly foreign providers. For a company like ITH – which operates nationwide – a very important element is the ease of building points of contact with alternative operators, and LIM provides it to us.” – says Niko Balazazy, CEO of ITH.

At LIM DC, ITH has begun offering colocation services to business customers and operators. With the latter in mind, on the occasion of the project to launch the access node, ITH built its own fiber-optic cable entrance to the building, as well as its own fiber-optic cables between floors – which connect the most important server rooms in the facility to each other.

POP ITH in LIM DC has been connected via independent routes to ITH hubs in Krakow and Katowice.

Strategic location

LIM Tower is the place where the most important communication and technology lines in Poland intersect. As a result, ITH has direct access to international and domestic fiber-optic lines, which allows it to provide services with the highest reliability and speed. The LIM Center, also known as LIM Center or LIM, is one of the most recognizable buildings in Warsaw.
